Mia Guldhammer grew up with music; singing in her parent’s family orchestra as child and later, as youngster, participating in ROD folkfestival and the Folkmusic center of Hoager. Today, she is one of Denmarks most recognized folksingers and traditionbearers. With her bands Virelai, Mallebrok and Guldmus, she sings for thousands every year, participating in events, festivals, medieval markets all along the country and abroad. She also forms a duo with guitarist and folksinger Morten Alfred Høirup and is member of the Breton-Swed-Danish project ‘Nøkken’, together with Dour/Le Pottiers Quartet and Sofia Sandén.
