Kåre Lie (Norway)
Kåre plays Anglo-Saxon lyre, several Medieval harps, Gothic harp with bray pins, and Baroque triple harp. He will give a musical lecture about reconstructed melodies from the Viking age: "Traces of Viking Songs. Possible sources to the music of the Vikings" and he will play these songs on the lyre and the harp.
Kåre's new book (in Norwegian) about this music will probably appear in print some time during 2008. Meanwhile, you can find some information about the songs of the Vikings on Kåre's website.
