Christoph Pampuch and Isabelle Himmelrich (Switzerland)
Christoph is a very popular harp teacher, now living in Switzerland, who has been teaching Celtic harp since many
years. In Sweden, he is known from several harp courses which he gave in Järna, and
from the Nordic Harp Meeting in Lund 2008 where he was teaching harp beginners
together with Isabelle Himmelrich.
Christoph is also the author of "Harpa mundi", a popular sheet music series with easy
harp arrangements, starting at beginner level.
In fact, it is very easy to learn your first tune - much easier than for
example on the fiddle, because once the harp is tuned, it sounds beautiful
immediately when you pluck the strings for the first time --
and you don't need first to torture your neighbours and yourself for some years...
And "Emma valssi" (a Finnish waltz which is popular in Sweden and Denmark as well)
sounds fine when played on the harp!
