Astrid Selling Sjöberg (Sweden)

Astrid is a folk singer and riksspelman from Blekinge in southern Sweden. She has composed harp music for Kung Byxlös, a theatre play about Margaretha Valdemarsdotter (1353-1412), queen of Denmark, Norway and Sweden. Astrid can tell us the story about queen Margaretha, teach us some ballads about her, and tell how the "Kung Byxlös" project has increased the number of harp players in Blekinge from zero to seven.
