Fourth update 2016: Some confirmed teachers

Musicians who have confirmed their contribution so far:

(… and some more to be expected…)

Workshop specifications will follow later this summer.

Third update 2016: Registration open

If you wish to register already now for the Nordic Harp Meeting 2016, you may do so here.

Note: At this very moment (February), only the venue and the date are fixed. The planning of the programme (workshops, concerts etc) is still in progress. A list of contributing teachers, workshop descriptions etc will be announced later this year – we hope to have all details settled around Midsummer.

If you have questions, feel free to ask Maria Ojantakanen.

Second update 2016: Accomodation

Dear Everybody,
Concerning the Nordic Harp Meeting 2016 in Albertslund, it is confirmed now that sleeping floors will be available for free at Egelundskolen, a school situated about 1.5 km from the venue. You’ll have to bring your own sleeping stuff, including bedroll / mattress, but the accomodation is free – and there are showers (separate for ladies and gents) in an adjacent building. We will have the school from Thursday to Sunday afternoon.
For those who wish more comfort, one of Denmark’s oldest motels (~4 km away) can be a nice possibility: Wittrup motel. The registration fee for the meeting will NOT include this, and you’ll have to make your own booking. However, we have bargained a special discount for registered participants of the Nordic Harp Meeting, so don’t forget to mention that you are going to participate in the NHM when you make your booking, and also to make them aware in case you would like to share room with another participant.
A third accomodation possibility can of course be hotels or hostels in Copenhagen, as the S-train is pretty close by.

First update 2016: Date + place

The Nordic Harp Meeting 2016 will be held in Albertslund in Denmark.

Date: Friday 21th to Sunday 23th of October, 2016
Place: Kulturhuset Birkelundgaard (Damgaardsvej 25, 2620 Albertslund)

Albertslund is located 18 km west of Copenhagen, easy to reach by S-train.

Birkelundgaard is a 100 year old four-wing farm that nowadays works as a center for cultural events, due to an amazing organization of volunteers. During spring/summer 2016 the barn will be renovated and will by october stand ready and shiny for us to play in!
Please book the date already!
Looking forward to seeing you here!
